Purpose
The purpose of the Legal Marketing Association Bay Area Eric Vargas Memorial Scholarship is to award $1,000 per academic year ($500 in each of fall and spring semesters) to an undergraduate SFSU College of Business major at any class level with financial need who is enrolled at least half time with a minimum GPA of 2.5. The scholarship is available on a competitive basis.
Qualifications
A potential candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- undergraduate business major at any class level, including entering freshmen, transfers, and current SF State undergrads
- enrolled at least half time
- minimum GPA of 2.5
- demonstrate financial need—students are not required to apply for financial aid in order to be eligible for consideration however, the selection committee takes financial need into account if information is provided in the application materials.
Amount of Award
$1,000 per academic year: $500 in each of fall 2013 and spring 2014 semesters
