Since 2010, LaborVoices, Inc., has been dedicated to increasing transparency in global labor markets, and global supply chains. The LaborVoices model is based on individual interactions with workers through their mobile phones, in their native language, to deliver information on local services available to them and feedback on working conditions from other workers. LaborVoices also polls workers regularly , to access important information on issues before they become urgent. In this way, LaborVoices is building a “TripAdvisor for Workers” to prevent labor abuse, complementing labor organizing activities and other interventions. Read more a bout our work here: We are seeking a self - starter who can take the lead on refining and streamlining our marketing & communicatio ns strategy. You will also be responsible for significantly impacting both the quality and quantity of all our communications initiatives . We will rely on your expertise to improve our online presence and better engage our stakeholders and target audience. This role will report directly to the Director of Product & Marketing with wide latitude and guidance from the rest of the company.

Position Responsibilities: 

Create and distribute regular communications thr ough our key marketing channels (website, social media, bl og). Lead PR activities, including media outreach a nd publications strategy, media relations, securing interviews, event promotions, administrative support, etc. Manage online presence, including website, all content, optimization, analytics, lead gen stra tegies, (SEO, email strategy, blogs, social media, etc.) Drive events strategy for 2016. Manage awards strategy for 2016. Provide administrative (and some strategic) support for collateral updates: decks, one pagers, proposals, newsletters, reports, case studies, etc. Work in a fast - paced startup environment where quality and time is critical.
