The New Devices Group is charged with developing products and technologies that will enhance and extend Intel’s product portfolio into new areas of computing, including wearable technology. The organization is responsible for rapidly turning brilliant technical and business model innovations into products that shape and lead markets. The Business Development and Strategy Group in NDG is charted with driving product definition for new devices in areas like Wearable Technology products for sports, or fitness or fashion and more, making partnerships with leading industry and eco-system players in these spaces, as well as finding customers for Intel in these areas to build products together. This group is also chartered with working with these companies and bring these new technologies and devices to market together.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt administrative nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school. - Analyse and identify trends and opportunities for wearable technology in Fashion and Fitness categories - Make connections and build relationships on behalf of Intel with leading industry bodies and companies in Fitness and Fashion- specifically regarding Wearable Technology - Identify, plan and execute Intel's participation in wearable technology industry events, tradeshows, conferences in Fashion and Fitness.
