The Youth and Family Marketing Coordinator (YFMC) is inspired by youth development and learning, the day camping experience, early childhood education, and brings a passion for creative, compelling marketing storytelling. With strong writing, editing, and project management skills, the YFMC coordinates detailed projects with tight timelines to meet and exceed strategic goals.
The YFMC will contribute to influential digital marketing content development and deployment, print marketing, multi-channel communications, direct mail marketing, and video production for three PJCC business units: year-round Camp Keff, the Early Childhood Education (ECE) Preschool, and Treehouse After School. A highly collaborative colleague, the YFMC will work successfully in dynamic settings with peers, youth participants, and their parents.
Work with Marketing Team to plan, execute, and analyze digital and traditional marketing, content planning and creation, and communications strategies and tactics for Youth and Family programs and events, including and not limited to diverse social media channels, multiple PJCC websites, e-mail campaigns, online and print advertising, print collateral, direct mail, and video production.
Ensure consistency of PJCC program brand look and feel, and messaging. Research marketplace competition and program participant demographics to provide insights for Marketing Team and apply to strategic initiatives.
Help manage individual department marketing budgets. Support camper acquisition and retention.
Embed with Camp Team during the summer season to photograph and video camp activities, manage and execute social and digital engagement from the field.
Meet regularly with Director of Digital Media to report on progress, problem solve, brainstorm, and evaluate priorities.
Collaborate with colleagues for effective and compelling graphic design, content strategy and execution, public relations, web site development, e-mail, video production, and data analysis.
Help identify new marketing strategic opportunities and support marketing testing.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications. Advertising, Digital Media or Journalism.
3+ years of experience in Marketing and Communications; Experience in agency or in-house environment
