Edible Excursions is an award-winning food tour company that offers intimate culinary walking tours in San Francisco, Berkeley, and Oakland for private and public groups. The small business has been honored by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce as Small Business of the year. We are looking for a reliable, fast-paced, and personable professional to join the team.
The Operations Manager performs a wide variety of complex and highly responsible administrative duties. The ideal candidate develops and implements systems for the business to include basic bookkeeping and accurate reporting. The Operations Manager works closely with the Owner, tour guests, Edible Excursions tour partners of which there are more than 100, and a dozen tour guides, managing the logistics for around 40 food tour events a month. This role requires 100% accuracy and excellent communication with these four channels.
The Operations Manager is responsible for the organization and follow-up of all tours. This role entails inside sales, proposal writing for new business and content uploading to external websites. The Operations Manager assists the Owner in running the business and is responsible for communicating with the Owner on personnel, customer and partner issues. There are many perks to this position: Chief among them, the chance to sample a lot of good food with the boss. Applicants should live in the Bay Area and need to be able to work remotely as the responsibilities are managed remotely.
Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in proposal writing is a must.

Proficiency with iCal, Microsoft Office and generally tech savvy.

Minimum of 3 years of event planning, administrative experience, or similar experience.
Minimum of 5 years living in SF, Oakland, or Berkeley.
Familiarity with Instagram, Instagram Story, Facebook, Facebook Live postings.
Familiarity with Quickbooks Online
