On Oct. 13, KRON-4 TV interviewed Professor of Business Management John Sullivan about the layoffs at Twitter and the health of the tech industry. "It's kind of a smart and bold move. It tells shareholders, it tells employees, it tells potential hires that they are changing," Sullivan said. "Facebook is doing fantastic lately. WhatsApp, Snapchat are all doing great, so it's just them [Twitter]. They don't know how to make money from their users." To be successful, Sullivan adds, "They've got to put in new features for the wow factors, so the kids say, 'I gotta have that!' And they just haven't done that in a long time."
