Sarah has worked in the hospitality industry since her teenage years. Sarah is chapter president of the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality and the 2011 Graduation Committee. Sarah serves as the winery and beverage manager for Taste of the Bay 2011, the 15th annual benefit for SF State’s Hospitality and Tourism Management program. After graduation, Sarah plans to pursue a career as a convention services manager or convention sales manager.
Yun Chen Tsai
Yun Chen is a continuing Bill Kimpton Hospitality Scholarship recipient. Yun Chen discovered her passion for the hospitality industry when she began working in a lodge at age 18. Currently, Yun Chen is balancing her coursework with her job at the American Ginseng Museum, her internship at the TAJ Campton Place, and her role as assistant volunteer manager for Taste of the Bay 2011. Yun Chen plans to pursue a career as a hotel sales manager or front office manager after graduating with a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management in December 2011.
Raeann currently works as a guest services agent at Marriott Residence Inn and as an assistant to the vice presidents of Associated Students Inc. Raeann is a New Student Orientation Peer Adviser for SF State’s Undergraduate Advising Center, leading campus tours and assisting students with academic advising. Raeann plans to pursue a career as a hotel regional manager.
