College of Business to enforce University’s course repeat policy, two strikes rule
News + Events : College of Business to enforce University’s course repeat policy, two strikes rule
Effective Spring 2014 the College of Business will begin enforcing the University’s Course Repeat Policy, the Two Strikes Rule, across all departments.
This means that any student who is unable to pass any college of business course during the first two attempts, will be required to take the class on subsequent attempts (third time, fourth time, etc.) through College of Extended Learning in Summer or Winter Session only, if it is offered, at the higher CEL tuition.
In the unlikely event that you need to take a business class for a third (or more) time, we strongly advise that you meet with an advisor in the Student Services Center (BUS 112) to develop an academic plan to help facilitate your graduation. The Student Services Center is open Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. No appointment needed.
Thank you for your time and have a great semester!
