The Center for Ethical and Sustainable Business held a kickoff celebration on October 11, 2012, at the Hub San Francisco, a co-working space hosting many social entrepreneurships and sustainability-focused startups.

Center Director Mark Starik and Event Coordinator Amanda Zantal-Weiner welcomed the attendees, including local businesses, SF State students, alumni, and faculty; and celebrated the CESB’s accomplishments, including hosting several sustainability-related workshops and events.

The event served to emphasize the CESB’s role as an innovative hub for social and environmental research, teaching, and outreach to the Bay Area business community.
