Information Systems Professor Robert C. Nickerson along with fellow coauthors Upkar Varsney and Jan Muntermann have written "A Method for Taxonomy Development and Its Application in Information Systems," a paper that has been instated in the European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS)—one of the top six journals in the IS field. As they reveal a taxonomy development method for the IS industry, they also present a survey, uncover problems, and demonstrate efficacy. The three professors have been in a research team for over five years and have published several papers together.
