Responsibilities:

frog's Summer 2014 Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to observe and learn the mechanics of a global marketing organization at the world's largest product strategy and design firm.

The Marketing Intern provides administrative and logistical support for a wide variety of marketing programs -- including content generation, media relations, social media engagement, lead generation, and event planning. This is a global role, in that the Marketing Intern will support projects that span our US, EMEA, and APAC regions.

The Marketing Intern will also complete a summer-long Capstone project that will include in-depth research and a final report delivered to frog's Marketing Leadership Team. By supporting the day-to-day operations of the global Marketing team, as well as through the Capstone project, the Marketing Intern helps optimize our programs while gaining exposure to the design field and the real-world application of marketing concepts.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Presence, focus, attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Punctual, professional, and polite
  • Most importantly, the willingness to roll up sleeves and dive into any task; this is a key attribute of anyone on the Marketing team

Skills:

  • Total fluency with Microsoft Office and other basic productivity tools
  • Competence with a wide variety of social media platforms
  • Coding skills, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or other tools like Google SketchUp, and sound/video production experience is a major plus
Details:

A day in the life of the Global Marketing Intern could include one or more of the following:

  • Compile and interpret major business, design, and technology news of the day, including frog press hits, and circulate to the Marketing team
  • Research upcoming speaking opportunities and assist with the booking and prepping of frog speakers
  • Monitor social media chatter, help plan and execute social media campaigns, and help measure engagement over time
  • Maintain our press database and compile insights about key journalists and their stories prior to press meetings
  • Build target lists for lead generation campaigns and conduct background research to support major sales meetings
  • Coordinate the production of text and visual assets for case studies published on the frog website
  • Coordinate relationships with key marketing vendors, complete expense reports, book team travel and accommodations for various marketing campaigns
  • Prepare and ship marketing collateral to frog studios and other locations
