Hotel & Restaurant Foundation Scholarships

The Hotel and Restaurant Foundation annually awards a large number of scholarships to SF State Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts majors who have leadership capabilities, industry experience and strong communication skills. Students applying for these scholarships must carry a 2.7 overall GPA and a 3.0 major coursework GPA while maintaining full-time enrollment. The Foundation endeavors to identify and reward the best and brightest of the hospitality industry's next generation of leaders. To do so, each year it asks students meeting certain basic requirements to complete and submit an application, write a short essay, and appear before an industry interview panel. Students apply directly through the Hotel & Restaurant Foundation. More information is available on foundation website at http://www.hotelrestaurantscholarships.org/scholarship.html.
