Strategic Leadership in Emerging and Developing Markets

This emphasis provides students knowledge of global trends, key factors that shape the business world, as well as strategy-formulation and leadership skills needed to succeed in the turbulent, emerging global environment. By cultivating a global perspective, students become better aware of real-world challenges and develop a substantive understanding of existing and trending opportunities and issues in a rapidly globalizing world. The courses will focus on, though not be confined, to study of emerging and developing markets. In addition to the core MBA requirements, students pursuing an international business emphasis will be advised to complete the following:


  • three IBUS elective courses
  • one elective in emerging market courses, and
  • one any elective in the graduate program at the College of Business
