Tenure and Promotion to Associate Professor
Theresa Roeder, Decision Sciences
Theresa Roeder joined the department of Decision Sciences in 2005, after receiving her Ph.D. from UC Berkeley in 2004. Her research is primarily in the field of discrete-event computer simulation, where she has worked extensively with the semiconductor industry. There, the focus is on investigating alternate approaches to simulation that would reduce the run times and/or development times.
Ming Li, Finance
Professor Ming Li joined the Finance Department at San Francisco State University in 2005, after completing his Ph.D. degree in Economics at UCLA. His research interests include international finance, asset pricing and learning.

Gulnur Tumbat, Marketing
Gulnur Tumbat received her M.B.A. degree from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. After working as a business analyst for Turkish Aerospace Industries for two years, she got her Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from University of Utah, David Eccless School of Business where she worked with Professor Russell W. Belk.

Ramesh Bollapragada, Decision Sciences
Having lived in Hyderabad, India, for 21 years, Ramesh Bollapragada moved to the Unites States in the 90s. Since August 2002, Professor Bollapragada has taught in courses for the Executive MBA program, the MBA program, and undergraduates classes in the areas of operations management, supply chain management, business forecasting, total quality systems, simulaion and mangerial statistics.

The College of Business has 104 tenure-track and tenured faculty with Ph.D.s., and there are approximately 18 part-time faculty members.
Full-time faculty members received their Ph.D. degrees from institutions such as University of California, Berkeley and Los Angeles (UCLA); Stanford University, Harvard University; University of Southern California; Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Georgia State University; Carnegie Mellon, Purdue University; University of North Carolina; and University of Washington.
Non-US born faculty members were originally from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Korea, Russia, Bulgaria, Philippines, Great Britain, Australia, Lebanon, Egypt, and Germany.
