Description
We propose a model to simplify Bonner's (1999) conceptual framework, "Choosing teaching methods based on learning objectives: An integrative framework," in Issues in Accounting Education. This model incorporates critical, objective, and subjective factors that simplify the choosing process. The model also allows an instructor to fine-tune the choosing process through sensitivity analysis. Finally, an instructor may wish to further simplify the choosing process by programming all the model's computations in ExcelTM, Visual BasicTM or other softwares. A starter ExcelTM-based template for the model's computations is available upon request from the authors.
