Description

This article uses statistical concepts, especially correlation, to examine the relationships between a team's performance at the end of the year and its performance in the previous year, at the All-Star break, and at the end of the exhibition season. It could be used by faculty teaching a statistics course to illustrate some key ideas of descriptive statistics.
