Eric Lamm

Assistant Professor, Management

Eric Lamm is Assistant Professor of Management in the College of Business at San Francisco State University. Dr. Lamm earned his Ph.D. from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. His main areas of interest are individual differences, job attitudes, and organizational change.  Dr. Lamm's research has recently appeared in academic outlets including Employee Relations, the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies, and the Organization Development Journal.

Before entering the world of academe, Dr. Lamm learned about organizational change first-hand as the senior speech-writer for the CEO of an international organization in Washington D.C., undergoing a full transformation to privatization. As a former student of international politics, he is keenly interested in how cultural differences influence how individuals act and influence others inside and outside of organizations. His travels for study, work, and pleasure, have brought him to over 30 countries across 5 continents.

Dr. Lamm spends his free time playing sports, watching baseball, or trying to maintain pace with his two daughters, Juliana (8) and Julieta (6).
