Scott Jerris, Ph.D.

Professor Scott I. Jerris received his Ph.D. in accounting from Purdue University in 1987. His major field of interest in teaching and research is financial accounting, particularly the association between stock prices and earnings per share measurements.

Professor Jerris has taught at Purdue University, Southern Methodist University, West Virginia University, and has been teaching at San Francisco State University since 1997. He has received six teaching awards, and has written over sixteen refereed journal articles.

Kenneth Danko, D.B.A.

Professor Danko first studied accounting as a business student at The University of Detroit where he received a B.S. and an M.B.A. Professor Danko received his D.B.A. (doctor of business administration) from Indiana University. While his education has focused on accounting, he has had extensive training in finance and organizational behavior. He is a member of the American Accounting Association (A.A.A.) and the Institute of Management Accountants (I.M.A.). He was awarded the C.M.A. (Certified Management Accountant) certificate in 1984.

Chun-Chia "Amy" Chang, Ph.D.

Amy Chang is an assistant professor in the Accounting Department of San Francisco State University. She received her Ph.D. in Accounting from University of Houston. Her research interest is in financial reporting with specific emphasis on issues relating to quality of financial reports, earnings management, and corporate governance. She has published papers in various academic journals and presented in several American Accounting Association and American Finance Association conferences.
