ALPFA's Mission is to be the leading Latino professional association dedicated to enhancing opportunities for CPAs, accountants and finance related professionals, and students, while expanding Latino leadership in the global workforce
We Offer:
* Mentoring Program: Students are paired with professionals in their intended field of study or with similar backgrounds.
* Professional Development Workshops: Workshops include resume writing, interview skills, business etiquette, financial planning, salary negotiations,
* Employment Search: Activities and events related to employment searches include "Meet the Firms", and access to recruiters at major firms/companies.
* National Convention: A five day/four night convention that includes a variety of professional development workshops and has a Career Fair & Expo during the convention. Many attending students have walked away with
valuable contacts at major firms. |
