Graduate Students : MBA : Career Workshops

Having keen business knowledge, professional savvy and the ability to network are deciding factors in an MBA's employability.

To maintain a competitive advantage, SF State's MBA students are strongly encouraged to explore the various resources available to them including workshops, on-line tools and resources, career counseling and events held throughout the year.

Workshops are designed to enable MBAs to learn ways to manage their careers and prepare to compete more effectively in today's MBA job market.

Career Workshops

All new incoming students must attend both workshops to fulfill the requirement. These workshops are also open to all current graduate business students.

Pursuing an MBA is more than just obtaining a graduate degree, it's about enhancing your career prospects!

Learn job search skills necessary to put yourself ahead of the pack and to strategically manage your career.

Workshops are held at the SF State Downtown Campus and are facilitated by Career Counselor Gibson Scheid, M.B.A., Ph.D. These workshops are also open to current graduate business students.
