The Hospitality and Tourism Management Program hosted its 12th annual Taste of the Bay event Oct. 28 at the St. Francis Yacht club.
Nearly 500 attendees enjoyed food and wine from more than two dozen Bay Area restaurants and wineries at the student-planned and run event. This year's event met its goal of raising $100,000 to support scholarships and other needs in the Hospitality and Tourism Management department. The program trains leaders in San Francisco's hospitality industry, which brought $8.24 billion to the City in 2007 according to the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau.
