Assistant Professor of Management Denise Kleinrichert was an invited guest speaker on April 16, 2009 at the University of California Hastings College of Law Business Law Journal Symposium entitled Beyond Bailout: Risk, Responsibility and the Road Ahead.

The purpose of the symposium was to analyze the scope and effects of the crisis on the financial real estate markets both in the U.S. and abroad; review how regulators failed to make credit-rating agencies, banks, and securities firms rein in their risk before the crisis; discuss how to bring values to Wall Street to reduce corruption and fraud; and explore innovation and the resurgence of the Bay Area and beyond. Professor Kleinrichert spoke on the “Intersection of Risk and Ethics”.
