A paper based on the research of MBA graduate Anthony Hoang and coauthored with Information Systems Professors Robert Nickerson, Paul Beckman and Jamie Eng, was published in the peer-reviewed journal, "Information Systems Knowledge Management."
The paper, "Telecommuting and corporate culture: Implications for the mobile enterprise," examined the effects of corporate culture on telecommuting. Through surveys with business professionals and managers, the authors found that corporate culture is still a deterrent to telecommuting in many organizations. Those results have implications for management, workers and organizations moving toward a more mobile enterprise.
