How was your IS
education useful in getting you where you are today?
By exposing me to a variety of IS subjects, particularly programming (PHP, HTML, Java, JavaBeans, SQL and Smalltalk) and systems analysis and design, I was able to secure a position at American Benefits
Consulting. I am part of a team that is developing a web-based system that will
increase our effectiveness to administer non-qualified executive benefit plans
(life insurance and deferred compensation). I am also maintaining and upgrading
the current database and procedures.
