News + Events : Professor Ron Purser publishes articles on Buddhist mindfulness for organizations
Professor of Management Ron Purser has published several articles on how mindfulness and meditation can benefit organizations.
These include: "Zen and the Creative Management of Dilemmas" (with A. Low), in the 2012 winter issue of the Journal of Management, Spirituality and Religion. "Deconstructing Lack: A Buddhist Perspective on Egocentric Organizations," in the 2012 Winter issue of the Journal of Critical Management Inquiry, Vol.10(4), 17-27.
Several additional articles are currently under review in management journals: "Organizational Mindfulness Revisited: A Buddhist-based Conceptualization" and "Zen and the Art of Organizational Maintenance."
Professor Purser is also involved in Google's Search Inside Yourself Learning Institute (SIYLI) which provides training in mindfulness for corporations.
