Antoaneta (Toni) Petkova, assistant professor of management, has been designated an Ascendant Scholar by the Western Academy of Management. To qualify for this award, a professor’s research, teaching, professional service, and ongoing work are taken into account.

Many leaders in the profession, including the current Academy of Management President, received WAM’s Ascendant Scholar award earlier in their careers. This year’s (4) award winners will be asked to present an overview of their research and careers to date at the Western Academy’s annual meetings this coming March.
