At commencement time, many students are acknowledged for their excellent academic achievements. The College of Business congratulates and extends best wishes to these exceptional students for the 2009-2010 academic year.
Each year the department's top performers are selected by the college's academic departments from its graduating seniors. These students receive special recognition from the university during commencement week. In addition, one student is selected as the college's Undergraduate Hood Recipient, to be recognized at commencement. Read more about the undergraduate honorees.
Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key
Justine Cheshareck, a senior accounting student, was honored as the 2010 Delta Sigma Pi scholarship key recipient for SF State, given annually to the graduating student with the highest cumulative academic average toward a business degree in administration or economics. Read more about Justine.
Graduate Business Distinguished Achievement Honorees
These students receive special recognition from the university during commencement week. In addition, one student is selected as the college's Graduate Hood Recipient, to be recognized at the Graduate Honors Convocation. Read more about the honorees.
Beta Gamma Sigma
Fifty-two College of Business students were inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society at a ceremony held Thurs., May 20. During the ceremony, 41 seniors and 11 juniors were inducted and presented with their membership certificate by Dean Nancy K. Hayes, Associate Dean Caran Colvin, and department faculty members.
