Yuk Suen "Felix" Cheng was awarded the Provost Scholar award for fall 2009-spring 2010. The SF State Provost Scholar award is a waiver of non-resident fees for one academic year and is offered to 10 exceptional graduate students who have been accepted to SF State. This is the second year of the Provost Scholar award.
Felix, a native of Hong Kong, China,Â earned his B.S. in psychology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Currently, he works as an insurance agent with Zurich Insurance Group, which insures small businesses and organizations. In his spare time, he is involved in promoting eventsÂ about psychological health issues to the general public, and provides academic tutoring to underprivileged students. He will begin the MBA program this fall. Upon completion of the program, Felix would like to promote structural changes in corporate governance including increasing transparency and social responsibility.
