Antoaneta Petkova, assistant professor of management,
will receive the Heizer Award for Outstanding Research in the area of
New Enterprise Development at the annual meeting of the Academy of
Management in August.

The award recognizes
Professor Petkova’s 2007 dissertation titled Reputation Building by New
Ventures: Three Essays on Processes and Performance.

The
Heizer Award is the oldest continuously given and one of the most
prestigious Dissertation Awards given by the Academy of Management. Congratulations, Antoaneta, on this outstanding recognition!
