Supervision/Evaluation: Marketing Internship available with San Francisco based commercial photographer. I'm a commercial photographer specializing in environmental portraits. You can view my website at www.jameythomas.com. This internship will include working with myself and our current marketing person on all our marketing efforts and will allow you to learn about the different ways a small creative business goes about promoting themselves. Paid/Unpaid: UnPaid
Duration: 3-6 months Who should apply? Undergrad Students Only
Responsibilities: Tasks will include mailing promotions, calling potential customers, prospecting for new targets and helping to develop new campaigns, helping grow our presence in social media such as Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as portfolio drop off and pick up from ad agencies and graphic design firms.

We work collaboratively and you will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to growing our business. 5-10 hours per week, can tailor the internship to meet college credit requirements. Ideal candidate is outgoing, socially confidant, organized, and enthusiastic about building client relationships.

Must be punctual and able to work well alone and with others.
Skills & Abilities: Skills:
  • solid computer and communication skills as well as internet access since much of our work is done with google docs.
  • Prefer marketing or business majors or someone focused on a career in marketing.
It will begin as an unpaid position and may transition to a paid position based on your contribution to our marketing efforts.
