Responsibilities: LiveSpark is a one-year old San Francisco and Oakland based start-up company that builds music-reactive fire installations. That's computer controlled fire that dances to music like an iTunes visualizer or graphic equalizer.

We target hotels, restaurants, clubs and high net worth individuals interested in unique, custom showpiece fire installations. Right now we are building a 16-foot-tall stainless steel and porcelain fire chandelier for an event in Miami and a granite fire pit for a project in New York.

Your tasks will be to assist the company's marketing and sales efforts, help us select and communicate with appropriate target customers, and help close sales.

  • work with graphic designers on image and messaging
  • communicate with potential sales contacts
  • refine business plan and presentations
  • prepare materials for meetings with investors

Intelligence, rigor, and eagerness valued more than experience.

Willingness to put your ego out there, face rejection, and come back for more will serve you well.

Graphic design and technical coding not required, but intimate knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other social media are essential.

The right candidate will help grow the company and land himself or herself a new position upon graduation.
