Responsibilities:
  • Social Media. Keep up with KAS Placement’s Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn accounts keeping followers engaged with relevant content while increasing social shares. Make sound recommendations as to effective SM practices and maintain knowledge of current trends.
  • Internal Content Management. Maintain KAS Placement’s internal blog writing about topics such as recruitment, HR, finding a job, interviewing and salary negotiation.
  • External Content Management. KAS Placement’s CEO, Ken Sundheim writes for Simply Hired, Forbes, Chicago Tribune and many others. Assist in formulating article ideas and proof content for grammar and gauge perceived reader interest level.
  • Competitive Analysis. Perform competitive analysis on marketing trends being implemented by other staffing agencies. Make recommendations accordingly.
  • Increase Online Search Presence. Learn how the major search engines work such as Google, Bing and Yahoo and alter website content accordingly. Additionally, find guest blogging opportunities for online reference purposes.

Requirements

On a macro sense, we are seeking someone with integrity, energy, passion and intelligence.

More specially:

  • Degree in marketing or management with a GPA of 3.2 or higher (will also consider seniors graduating May 2014). Internship experience a plus, though not required.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ambition to get ahead within our organization.
  • Passion for marketing and a willingness to learn.
