Parties That Cook is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented intern to support our marketing team in San Francisco.
This is a fun and exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a small business environment.
Requirements: Candidates should be well organized, self-starters and have excellent writing and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and complete various projects is a must. Interest in food and/or culinary skills a definite plus. This unpaid position is a 3 month commitment, with opportunity to extend the internship for the right candidate. Hours can range from 12-30 hours per week, depending on intern's availability.
The Marketing Intern works closely with the Marketing Manager as well as the VP of Sales & Marketing. Daily tasks vary, and depend on season and marketing priorities.
In the first week or so, the intern will meet with every department to get an overview of their functions and gain a better understanding of Parties That Cook as a whole. Weekly check-ins will be scheduled to review the task list, project progress and potentially re-prioritize based on new or upcoming deadlines. The intern will see our corporate team building events in action, as a server. There will be opportunities to work with other departments and attend monthly company-wide meetings in which we review the financial standings of PTC.
