The Street Team will be the eyes and ears in the San Francisco Area. They will be responsible for communicating information and updates to local shops, business owners, and the general community. These individuals will be outgoing and knowledgeable of the tour, attending up to 20 different events throughout the term of the contract.


  • Engage and manage grassroots programs to educate and grow awareness of the event.
  • Recruit and manage grassroots team (2-3 people).
  • Create and manage grassroots events calendar.
  • Manage grassroots promo item inventory provided by Alli Sports.
  • Collateral distribution—distributing posters, postcards, and buttons, ect. to local businesses, community centers, ect. Alli will contribute to list of local businesses and provide list of top priorities.
  • Maintain open lines of communication regarding skate and BMX shops, parks, events, and promotions.
  • Communicate daily with Dew Tour staff providing status and inventory updates.

Front of House:

The grassroots team will work onsite at the event as the front of the house team.

Anticipated schedule for week of:

  • Wednesday, October 9th (orientation) - 2:30pm to 4pm
  • Thursday, October 10th - 4pm to 7pm
  • Friday, October 11th - 12:30pm to 8:30pm
  • Saturday, October 12th - 12:30pm to 9pm
  • Sunday, October 13th - 10am to 6pm

         *Subject to change*

Must be available to work on their feet all day October 10 - 13.

Must be able to receive direction and field questions while directing spectator traffic.

Must be presentable (i.e. Dew Tour t-shirts, khaki shorts, close toed shoes) and courteous to spectators


Skills & Abilities:

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Sports Management, Sports Marketing, and or other related fields
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proven written and strong oral communication skills
  • Must be familiar with the San Francisco Area and located within a reasonable distance
  • Must be on-site during the event
  • Must have reliable transportation
