Responsibilities:

Internship Opportunity with Singers Marin – Open Immediately (a nonprofit choral organization for youth and adults) SingersMarin.org

We are looking for an intern(s) to assist this Mill-Valley based nonprofit choral organization with a special event-planning project. The intern will report to the Artistic Director/Founder, Jan Pedersen Schiff. A stipend of $400.00 will be paid per month (based on a minimum of 40 hours per month). Weekly updates will be required to account for progress on the items listed.

We need: An intern who enjoys event planning and marketing to help with a series of events and promotion leading up to an exciting choral concert at Davies Symphony Hall on April 23, 2013 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Singers Marin. A minimum of 10 hours per week is expected for this project. Specific needs are for someone to help with PR, organization of production and logistics activities for the concert, including social networking to build awareness and promote the events. A love of choral music is a plus! This job opportunity will be an excellent addition to your resume.
