Responsibilities:
  • Assist staff and partners with tax and bookkeeping services
  • Data Entry and initial setup for new tax clients and entities
  • Office administrative tasks
  • scanning, photocopying, assembling tax returns, and filing.
  • Interact with clients, including Cantonese and Mandarin speaking clients.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Must know how to use MS EXCEL.
  • MS Word and MS Outlook a plus.
  • QuickBooks Online and Desktop Versions (2009 and up)
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Willing to learn and work well with others, is also self sufficient.
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities.

Details:

This internship will provide a great opportunity for the intern to be exposed to a small boutique family tax practice with a few employees.

Although small, the intern will be exposed to tax returns of all types from individual returns, partnership returns, and corporate returns. The intern will also be exposed to accounting and bookkeeping duties which will help strengthen their accounting skills.

The internship ends in April, however we may keep the intern on for longer period of time or possibly part or full time. The intern must be able to communicate in Cantonese as some of our clients only speak Cantonese.
