Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
  • Excellent sales skills.
  • Ability to negotiate in a business environment
  • Ability to handle / neutralize conflicts.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft suites (Word and Excel)
  • 1-2 years experience in consumer goods merchandising
  • Knowledge of CRM, Microsoft Dynamic (an asset)
Details:
  • Visit point of sales (Grocery stores, Fitness Clubs, Specialty Foods Retailers, and Convenience Stores).
  • Build strong relationships with key store personnel to ensure their understanding of brand information, shelf standards and promotions for GURU products.
  • Rotate shelf stock, maintain store product displays, and price merchandise appropriately.
  • Build displays where required and install promotional material to maximize branding and visibility of GURU products.
  • Provide accurate reporting through CRM system.
  • Take customer orders as required.
  • Establish agreements for product placement.
  • Supervise promotions, events and demonstrations.
  • Provide reliable and prompt customer service.
  • Sample store employees with product.
