• Updating all social media outlets throughout the day with fun, relevant and engaging topics about the studios and the music industry as a whole
• Taking pictures of artists who come to record and managing/organizing the photo files
• Creating and implementing new and effective outreach methods to musicians and their primary decision-makers
• Creating fun, informative and aesthetic monthly newsletters recapping studio activity
• Working with the Assistant Studio Manager to coordinate special events for the studios
• Administrative duties including answering phones, mail room tasks, filing, etc.

Because most of your duties will revolve around online marketing and miscellanea, it is required that you provide your own laptop. We also strongly encourage that you have your own car as running errands is necessary from time to time.

Some other notes:

• We have to be in contact with your advisor/instructor before you get started and will be working with him/her on your evaluations throughout the semester
• There is a probationary period of 5 days and employment can be terminated at any time by you or the studio
• We ask that you are prompt and professional and require minimal supervision to complete your tasks at hand
• ...and at the end of the day, this is a recording studio, and that's pretty fun. So please have a good sense of humor, be friendly, etc.

Fantasy Studios is a multi-room recording studio in Berkeley, California at the Zaentz Media Center, known for its recording of award-winning albums such as Journey’s Escape and Green Day's Dookie.

Built as a private recording studio for artists on the Fantasy Records jazz label in 1971, it was opened to the public in 1980 for recording, mixing and mastering. Fantasy Studios continues to operate as a full-service recording studio for the music, television, film and gaming industries.
