- Assist in the planning, creation and implementation of marketing campaigns to drive travel purchases. - Launch social media campaigns to raise customer interaction and retention rates - Update internal and external Web sites - Work with travel partners to deliver effective campaigns on time and on budget. - Analyze customer database to find key target markets for cooperative advertising
|Skills & Abilities:||
Candidate must be reliable, responsible and self-motivated. Must be willing to work on a broad spectrum of marketing programs and able to interact professionally with management, sales agents and partner organizations. Prefer candidates with a familiarity of social media and html or web-editing software, such as Dreamweaver. Knowledge of Adobe Design Suite a plus.
We are an American Express Travel Representative Office with three Bay Area locations. The marketing intern would work with the VP of Marketing to design and implement effective promotions utilizing print advertising, direct mail, e-marketing, social media and event marketing. Intern would also work on cooperative marketing campaigns with companies such as Macy's, Carnival Cruise Line and Disney. This is a good opportunity for a motivated individual looking for hands-on involvement in a broad spectrum of marketing activities. The candidate will finish this intership with a portfolio of finished marketing campaigns, which they will have played an active role in producing.
