The Steelwedge Summer Marketing Internship is designed to provide insight on our business-to-business marketing from content creation to campaign development to customer acquisition. The intern role will be a research intensive role, focusing on demand generation and lead qualification.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about learning, have great online research skills, comfortable creating analysis of results against monthly metrics and be tireless is sleuthing out new avenues for information. Also crucial to this role is ease with communication and collaboration as great demand generation comes from tight connection and interaction with both sales and marketing teams.

 Responsibilities include:

• Research using available online resources like Hoovers, Data.com, InsideView, LinkedIn and internet
• Data entry with daily leverage of the leading CRM system, Salesforce.com
• Analysis for weekly marketing dashboard, assessing lead pipeline  

• College/university graduate or student majoring in marketing, communications or business
• Available to work in our Pleasanton office at least two-three days a week. Looking for 30-40 hour/week engagement
• Must have:
  • Interest in business-to-business technology industry

  • Detail and deadline focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Facile organizational skills
