HMS seeks to develop leadership skills and camaraderie amongst its peers, and strives to support campus relationships through team building and industry awareness.

National Society of Minorities in Hospitality

NSMH logoThe mission is to recruit and advance minority students in the hospitality industry. The organization strives to build and maintain relationships between student members and hospitality professionals. The SF State Chapter works with the future leaders of the hospitality industry by addressing diversity and multiculturalism, as well as the career development of its student members.

Club Managers Association of America

CMAA logoCMAA is the professional association for managers of membership clubs. Student members at SF State University participate in educational and professional development programs, and have the opportunity to network with peers and professional club managers from athletic, city, faculty, military, yacht, town, and country clubs.

Professional Convention Management Association

Professional Convention Management AssociationThe Professional Convention Management Association is an organization in which students interested in a career in the convention, meeting, and event planning industry can network with industry professionals as well as gain hands on experience to further their career and obtain a greater knowledge of the industry.
