Ph.D. in hospitality administration from the College of Human Sciences, Texas Tech University.
Will teach courses in Restaurant and Catering Management, Introduction to Hotel Management, and Introduction to Restaurant & Institutional Foodservice Management, Historical and Contemporary Aspects of Food, Beverage and Culture in America
Most recent position: Lab instructor for Experimental Foods, preparing and conducting laboratory experiments related to the topics covered in class to encourage active learning.
Professor Ergul’s teaching interests include food service management, sensory evaluation, experimental foods, introduction to business, management, hospitality management, principles of marketing, marketing management, and hospitality marketing.
