Graduate Programs : Downtown Campus : About
In January 2007, San Francisco State University's College of Business Graduate Programs relocated to a new downtown campus at 835 Market Street (between 4th and 5th Streets at Powell), Fifth Floor. All classes and office operations for the MBA, MSBA and downtown San Francisco Executive MBA programs are conducted at this location in the Westfield San Francisco Centre.
This exciting location is the historic site of the old San Francisco Emporium, best known for its eye-popping glass ceiling atrium, which has been preserved and now adorns the building. This dynamic environment in the heart of downtown is directly above the Powell Street BART and Muni stations.
The main purpose for this move was to bring our excellent graduate business education to the market. The Downtown Campus location makes the MBA and MSBA programs more convenient for many working professionals who wish to pursue a degree part-time. The Downtown Campus also houses the College of Extended Learning and other programs of San Francisco State University.
