Hong Kong: The City that Means Business
Thursday, October 31, 2013
5:00pm - 6:00pm
BUS 202

Join us as we welcome guest speaker Ms. Subrina Chow, director of the Hong Kong Economics and Trade Office in San Francisco, as she discusses how Hong Kong consolidates and strengthens its position as the region’s international financial, trading and logistics hub.

As the center of global economy gravitates towards Asia, Hong Kong is where business goes to grow.

Below are some statistics about Hong Kong:

  • ranked No.1 in economic freedom (by Heritage Foundation)
  • ranked No. 2 in ease of doing business (by World Bank)
  • ranked No. 3 in competitiveness (by IMD)

Hong Kong is less than two times the size of San Francisco, yet houses almost nine times the population. It is recognized as the world’s 9th largest trading entity, apart from the rest of China.

No RSVP is necessary.
