The College of Business is very honored and pleased to announce the following faculty have been granted tenure and promotion to the rank of associate professor by President Leslie Wong effective the first day of the fall 2013 semester.

Sada Soorapanth

Sada Soorapanth received her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in industrial and operations engineering, an M.S. from the University of Houston in industrial engineering, and BEng from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, in chemical engineering. Her research interests are in statistical modeling, decision analysis, and discrete-event simulation with applications in health care. She has over 10 years of research and work experiences in economic analysis of public health policy and new medical technology. She has worked with major pharmaceutical companies to perform economic modeling and analyses in various diagnostic and therapeutic areas.

Mehmet Ergul

Ph.D. in hospitality administration from the College of Human Sciences, Texas Tech University.

Mehmet Ergul joined the SF State faculty in 2006. He is currently teaching Restaurant and Catering Management, Introduction to Hospitality Management, Historical and Contemporary Aspects of Food, Beverage and Culture in America and The Business of International Tourism.

Denise Kleinrichert Dr. Denise Kleinrichert is an Assistant Professor in Management/Ethics, Chair of the College of Business' annual Business Ethics Week, and a Founding colleague of the Center for Ethical and Sustainable Business (CESB). She has focused her academic career in the areas of business ethics, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable business practices. She teaches two undergraduate courses: Seminar on the Environment of Business and Ethics at Work, as well as two MBA seminar courses, Political, Social, Legal Environment of Business and Sustainability and Business Opportunity.

Eric Lamm

Eric Lamm is Assistant Professor of Management in the College of Business at San Francisco State University. Dr. Lamm earned his Ph.D. from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. His main areas of interest are individual differences, job attitudes, and organizational change.  Dr. Lamm's research has recently appeared in academic outlets including Employee Relations, the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies, and the Organization Development Journal.

Peter Melhus

Peter Melhus is an assistant professor of management and sustainable business in the College of Business at San Francisco State University. He has 25 years of private sector experience and 25 years of experience in non-governmental organizational leadership, including multiple-year positions as executive director/board member of multi-stakeholder collaborative groups and single purpose NGOs.

Veronika Papyrina

Veronika Papyrina received her Ph.D. in business administration with an area of specialization in marketing from the R. Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Her teaching experience includes two years teaching marketing for administrative and commercial studies at Kings College University of Western Ontario in Canada, and one year at the High Institute of Management in her native Moscow, where she taught social and political environment of business.

Ian Sinapuelas

Ian Sinapuelas was awarded a Ph.D in marketing from Purdue University in May 2007.

His teaching experience includes MBA-level marketing management at the German International Graduate School of Management and Administration in Hanover, Germany, as well as several business courses during his time at Purdue.
