Assistance in purchasing hardware and software

The University has pricing agreements with Microsoft and Dell ASAP (for Adobe software).

The University has special discount agreements for computer hardware with various computer vendors.

Equipment to borrow

College of Business faculty and staff can check out portable LCD projectors and laptops from the Business Computing Helpdesk in BUS 221. The equipment must be picked up personally by the faculty or staff member.

Faculty can also check out equipment from Academic Technology (x81494).

Overhead projectors

Most classrooms in the BUS building are equipped with overhead projectors for transparencies. Contact the Help Desk if a bulb needs to be replaced or if a projector needs cleaning.

Please:

• request a new bulb before both bulbs are burned out
• do not attempt to clean the projector lenses and mirrors. A special cleaning fluid and cloth are required to avoid damage to the lenses and the mirrors can only be cleaned with canned air.
