Brenda Mak

Associate Professor, Information Systems

Professor Mak received the M.S. in industrial administration degree from Carnegie Mellon University, the M.S. in statistics and Ph.D. in business from Northwestern University.

Professor Mak’s research interests include data mining, neural networks, rough sets, genetic algorithms, knowledge modeling, computer art, and effect of technology adoption on employee retention.

Professor Mak has published in the European Journal of Operational Research, Information & Management, Information Processing & Management, Computers & Graphics, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, and others.
